Working with Lindsay the Creative (@lindsay_thecreative) on her recent branding shoot was such a blast! From the moment we started planning, I knew this session was going to be special—it was all about capturing her energy, style, and the heart of her brand in a way that felt true to her. Shoot day was filled with laughter, creativity, and so many fun little moments that perfectly reflected who she is and what her business stands for. Afterward, I got the chance to sit down and chat with her about the whole experience, and I can’t wait to share her thoughts with you!
Q1:
Why did you want to work with me?
Linds:
I was looking for a photographer who didn't just take quality photos, but also had a fun, creative eye I was looking for. I also needed a photographer who was happy in a studio environment, and because of your years of expertise nothing I threw at you was a problem, if anything you seemed excited and thrived under the requests. I also wanted someone I could have a laugh with. As someone who hates being in front of the camera I needed to have a photographer who could make the whole experience a fun one, and I knew that could be you.
Q2:
Did you know what type of shots you wanted ahead of contacting me or were you looking for ideas?
Linds:
I very much knew what type of shots I was after, and that was really helpful in knowing you and I would be a good fit together. We met for a brew first to talk through the mood boards and spreadsheets I created, and I could tell you understood what I was going for, and helped me understand how we could recreate them, along with giving me advice on how to make them even better. I left the meeting full of confidence and buzzing with excitement for what we were going to create.
Q3: How did you find working with me?
Linds:
You are the cheeky golden nugget of a photographer everyone needs in their life. It was an absolute joy having your as my photographer, and I'll 100% be recommending you to everyone I meet. You eye for detail, listening ear, and words of wisdom created a reassurance that put me at ease. Your sense of humour and quality taste in music simply added the cherry on top of a delicious brand shoot sundae!
Q4:
Would you recommend me?
Linds:
Without a doubt. I was already recommending you before I used you for my brand shoots, and I will continue to recommend you.
Q5:
If someone is on the fence about working with me, what would you say?
Linds:
Stop being an idiot and book her already!
