I recently had the pleasure of photographing one of Amy Nichols Interiors interior design projects (@Amy_nicholas_interiors), and it was such a great experience. Every room told a story, with thoughtful details, beautiful textures, and a style that perfectly reflects her creative vision. As we moved through the space, it was clear how much passion and expertise she pours into her work—the shoot felt less like documenting a home and more like capturing a living piece of art. Afterward, I had the chance to sit down with her and chat about her design process, and how she brings her clients’ dreams to life.
Q1:
Why did you want to work with me?
ANI:
We love your photography style and how you capture interiors in particular (as this is our area of specialism).
Q2:
Did you know what type of shots you wanted ahead of contacting me or were you looking for ideas?
ANI:
We had an overall feel and aesthetic that we wanted to capture but were unsure of which angles/ shots would capture this, something that Christina was very helpful with.
Q3:
How did you find working with me?
ANI:
It was very smooth and enjoyable working with Christina as she gave us an insight into how she captures the perfect shot which will help us in the future when styling a project.
Q4:
Would you recommend me?
ANI:
Yes we would highly recommend you. Christina is very professional and knowledgeable, she is quick to reply and to send over the final shots, she will discuss with you what you would like to achieve from the shoot prior to starting to ensure the perfect shots are captured which is great. I would have full confidence to recommend her services.
